New affordable rental housing is being built in Ravilaakso
Pikipruukki is planning a new rental housing project in Ravilaakso, Vaasa, as part of the city's broader regional development. The planned project comprehends a total of 39 apartments, which are intended to meet the demand for small and functional rental apartments. However, the selection of apartments is diverse and also includes family apartments.
The project also takes into account the social sustainability of housing. Seven of the apartments are targeted at the long-term homeless, as part of efforts to reduce homelessness and provide permanent housing solutions.
Ravilaakso is a new, developing district where the goal is to build a comfortable, functional and diverse residential environment. Pikipruukki’s project supports the development of the area by offering affordable rental housing close to good transport connections and services. The planning emphasizes high-quality housing solutions, efficient use of space, and long-term property management.
The project is progressing through planning stages and implementation requires, among other things, confirmation of funding. Pikipruukki continues its close co-operation with the city of Vaasa and other stakeholders to progress the project.
