Kiinteistö Oy Pikipruukki's current and long-term executive director Birgit Mäkinen is retiring and the board of directors has appointed MSc (Econ) Riitta Pulkka as the new executive director for the company. She will start her new role on 1.9.2025.

Riitta Pulkka brings with her an all-round and impressive professional experience in rental housing, customer service and property management development. She has previously worked in managing positions in Helsingin kaupungin asunnot Oy (Heka) and Helsingin seudun opiskelija-asuntosäätiö (Hoas), where she was responsible for strategic and operative leading of customer experiences and service productions. Pulkka's competence covers especially customer-oriented services and development of digital solutions, multichannel communication as well as managing personnel and organizational changes.

Pikipruukki's board of directors considered Pulkka's proven experience in managing customer relations and development of customer-oriented services particularly valuable. To Pulkka the customer is always at the core and she has a proven ability to develop genuine and impressive customer-oriented services. This point of view correlates strongly with Pikipruukki's strategy, where customer experiences and making daily life better for residents is in the core.
